About Nigel Long

 My name is Nigel Long and I run ACTION DISABILITY. I've been disabled since I was 17. 

I have a background in training and have been a senior officer and councillor in local government for over 30 years. I also have extensive experience of providing training and consultancy in the tenant movement, voluntary sector, co-operatives and local government.

Empowering people with disabilities is the central aim of ACTION DISABILITY and my team of trainers have extensive experience of providing inclusive training. 

They all believe empowering people with disabilities is critical to getting a fair deal and to supporting independent living and access to work.
